Software Training for Students (STS) offers FREE technology training and project support for registered UW-Madison students. Learn how to work with STS below.

Technology Workshops​

Any student with an active UW NetID can attend STS’s FREE software workshops. We offer a wide range of 2-4 hour workshops on Photoshop, Excel, HTML and more. Check out the schedule and register.

"Ask a Trainer" Project Support

Stuck on a technology-related project? Software Training for Students's Ask A Trainer program is what you need. All you need to do is send Software Training for Students an email or set up a one-on-one appointment with a Software Training for Students trainer. An expert trainer will get you back on track.

STS trainers are available for drop-in consultations from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays in the DesignLab
