Even though I don't have a Russian name, my Russian parents call me "Abchik". In Russian, "chik" or "ichka" is often added to the end of names as a way of
endearment. Many friends call me Abs though.

What is your major? How did you choose that?
My majors are computer engineering and computer science. I'm also getting a certificate in French. I enjoy coding and have been taking French since 6th grade, so I wanted to stick with it.
Do you know what you'd like to do after you graduate?
I'm not entirely sure what I want to do after I graduate, but I know I want to move to either the east coast or the west coast
and maybe work in web development.

What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy working out, being outdoors, and hanging out with friends!
Do you have any hobbies or groups that you participate in?
I ski with Hoofers recreationally during the winter.

Nope!
Any exciting plans for summer/winter break?
I'll be starting out my summer by traveling to Israel in May, and then I'll be interning at Target HQ in Minneapolis for the rest of the summer.

What is something that might surprise someone who just met you?
I did synchronized swimming for 7 years and went to the Junior Olympics my senior year of high school.
Where is somewhere you have always wanted to travel?
So many places! Greece, Italy, Fiji, Singapore, and many more.
Have you ever met anyone famous?
Sadly, no. Although, I once saw Wallace Shawn, from the Princess Bride, eating a salad in New York.
Life at STS
What is your favorite topic to teach?
Wordpress and HTML are always fun.
What is something you are interested in learning?
I would be super interested in learning more about Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audacity, Python, and JavaScript.
What has been the most challenging part of working at STS?
You have to be pretty resourceful when faced when questions you don't know the answer to. I learned that you can Google pretty much anything
or ask for help from your coworkers!
