My birthday is April 15 and I'm always happy to celebrate.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Menomonee Falls before coming to Madison.
What holidays do you celebrate (if any)?
I'll celebrate any holiday with my friends and family that they observe. Typically Christmas, Easter, and New Years.

What is your academic life like?
What year in school are you?
I'm currently a Sophomore.
When do you expect to graduate?
I plan to graduate in Fall of 2021.
What is your major? How did you choose that?
My major is Computer Sciences. I chose it because I was always fascinated by computers and the potential engineering opportunities thereof.
Do you know what you'd like to do after you graduate?
I'm currently working toward becoming a professor. I've always had a passion for teaching and I believe this will be an opportunity to pursue that.
Interests
What do you like to do when you're not in class/working for STS?
What do you like to do for fun?
I'm always happy to hang out with friends, play video games, or go hiking, just to name a few.
Do you have any hobbies or groups that you participate in?
I like to build computer programs such as useful tools and proof of concept viruses, I enjoy writing music which I've always used as an opportunity to try new musical concepts and ideas, and sometimes I perform at the local comedy clubs.
Do you have any other jobs or internships?
Not currently, though I will be looking for an internship next summer.
Any exciting plans for summer/winter break?
I plan on spending some time with my friends, relaxing, and getting some much needed progress done on my hobbies.

What are some interesting, unexpected, or surprising facts about yourself?
What is something that might surprise someone who just met you?
I've piloted an airplane twice in my life, I've been in the newspaper twice, and I was homeschooled with the near entirety of my education being autodidactic before coming to university.
Where is somewhere you have always wanted to travel?
I've always wanted to travel to a Scandinavian country to observe their politics and resulting infrastructure.
Have you ever met anyone famous?
I haven't met anyone famous myself, but I nearly had the opportunity to shake hands with Bernie Sanders during a rally.

Talk a little bit about your time with STS
What is your favorite topic to teach?
My favorite topics to teach are programming related. My favorite class at STS currently is probably the Python class.
What is something you are interested in learning?
I'm interested in learning more about the low level mechanics of computer engineering so that I might bring that knowledge with me to the classroom.
What has been the most challenging part of working at STS?
The most challenging part of STS is probably understanding the topics well enough to teach them, but that is also the most rewarding part as you obtain a much deeper understanding than if you hadn't had the opportunity to teach.
