Main Responsibilities:
- Teach and assist workshops (softwares topics vary) (approximately 2-6 sessions per semester)
- Attend weekly Office Hours at College Library and/or Morgridge Hall (2 minimum required hours per week)
- Assist with 1-on-1 questions throughout the semester
- Learn new software topics
- Create new and/or update existing training materials

NOTE: any student currently enrolled for credit at a degree-granting institution can apply – not just UW-Madison students!
Qualified candidates for the position of Student Technology Trainer are:
- Eager to help other people succeed
- Interested in learning and practicing new software and technology skills
- Able to communicate concepts to others
- Comfortable speaking in front of small groups (roughly 2 to 15 people)
- Already familiar with OR willing to learn one or more technology tools/applications
- Excited to be a part of a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming team
